The cabin was great, but they neglected to tell us the ecoli/boil water had been lifted two days before we got there...and we had no hot water for the first half of the stay...
I hate giving bad reviews but this place was absolutely sub-par. I was yelled at by management the first 15 minutes I was there because of some music we were playing. We came here on a vacation and not to be treated like pubescent children. I am extremely upset about this. We arrived at the cabin and there was dog feces on our porch and the beds looked like they hadn't been changed in months. There was dead, crusted bugs strewn across the linens- had I known this cabin was this unclean, I would have brought my own linens. The refrigerator was not working properly and was there was an strong, pungent odor when we opened it. The coffee machine was a joke and the cabin was overall super unclean. I will never stay here again. This cabin is not worth the $105 dollars that we paid nor is it in a good place. Hey, you don't even offer firepits for your guests. This is ridiculous for the price. Also, they are heavily against smoking and pets there, but the cleaning lady had her dogs run all over the place. We had a couple of our guests yelled at by the same girl for a cigarette, yet the lady next to our cabin was smoking with no problem. This place is a joke.
The cabin did not have air conditioning and other guests had a fire pit right in the middle of the complex as wind blew smoke into the cabin, forcing us to close the window. This same situation was reported to management the prior year's Labor Day weekend. Sad to see the problem again this year. Will be considering better alternatives next time.
I visited some friends that were staying there. It was great! A cozy, clean place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone! :)
